Intermediate Audition Requirements

All auditions for 2024-2025 will include three components: scales, a solo piece of your choice, and a prepared excerpt (found below). Please understand that the audition committee may choose to omit some items during the actual audition.

Auditions will be on August 5th and 8th.

Snare rudiments:​

  • (Alternating) Flams

  • Single paradiddles (RLRR-LRLL sticking, etc., continuously for 4 measures in 4/4)

  • Major scales C, G, F
