Jennifer Schuler joined WFHEMA in 2020 as director of Beginner and Intermediate strings. She studied under Dr. Alberto Jaffe, former artist in residence of Pensacola and author of the Jaffe Strings Method. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education, violin proficiency. She holds 14 years of teaching experience in both private and group lessons. In addition to teaching for WFHEMA, Mrs. Schuler teaches private string lessons in her personal studio. She also performs as a violinist with Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and Panama City Symphony Orchestra. Jennifer is also a homeschooling mother of 2. Whenever she is not teaching or playing violin, she loves making memories with her family and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. 

Having been a teacher for 20 years, she has taught multiple concert bands, directed school concerts, MPA performances, choir, color guard, general music, and football game performances. She is currently an elementary music teacher in the Escambia County School District.

Ms. McConnell is the orchestra director for Tate High School and Ransom Middle School, and is the associate director of the Pensacola Symphony Youth Orchestra. She is an adjudicator for the Florida Orchestra Association, and is assistant to Leonid Yanovsky at UWF’s Summer StringsFest. Catherine also organizes and supervises the Escambia All County Strings Program.

Tina received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University and Master of Oboe Performance degree from The University of Mississippi. She studied the Orff Schulwerk process at the University of Memphis, earning her certification for Orff Level 1, 2, 3 and Master Class. Over the years, Ms. Gresham has taught students from Pre-K through College. In addition to teaching, Ms. Gresham performs as an oboist with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Gresham has two grown daughters and a granddaughter with another on the way. When she isn’t teaching or playing music, Tina enjoys gardening, reading, hiking and playing with her cat, Nora.
